Just a few pics from our recent trip. In Hong Kong we took the tram up to the Peak, but when we reached the top the cloud came down so there was nothing to see.
Lower down we could see.
Next day the weather improved and we took a ferry over to Cheng Chau island.

Plenty of fish for sale

Driving through Tamsui to Jem's apartment.

 Jem's apartment in Tamsui
View from Jem's fourteenth floor apartment. When he moved in six years ago there were no other buildings and he could see the river.

This is the local sports centre
The white building is a massive Carrefour
Local hotel with interesting viewing tower and a great Dim Sum restaurant which we sampled.
Just beyond the hotel is Fisherman's Wharf marina and fishing harbour. In the background is the No Smoking bridge.
This will be Jem's new apartment when it is finished.

The view from the Humble House hotel in central Taipei. The building on the right is Taipei 101 the tallest tower in Taiwan.
 Jem, Jason and Summer.
